The Project

Kia Ora, Talofa Lava, Malo e lelei, Bula vi Naka, Malo ni, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Namaste ma Fakafeiloaki.

We are Enjoy Contemporary Art Space, a non-profit art gallery located in central Pōneke. Established in 2000, our vision is to champion contemporary art within Aotearoa New Zealand.

WHAT IS THE PROJECT

Our small team are excited to support our new Pasifika tama'ita'i and Curator - Exhibitions and Public Programmes, Etanah Falagā Talapā, in developing her first group art exhibition in 2022. This is huge for us.

We want to support our artists fairly and work with the best possible resources available.

"Storytelling is a powerful gift we have that weaves our people together. They lend spaces for our communities to heal, rebuild and reshape our view of ourselves in relation to our place here in Aotearoa New Zealand today. I will be putting together my first group exhibition with Enjoy and five Moana artists, supporting their discoveries, uplifting their truths and deepening their connections to themes on personal family lineage, sacred knowledge, survival and spirituality."

- Etanah Falagā Talapā.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE $10,000.00.

We are super fortunate to receive a Boosted x Moana match fund from toward this project. So, every dollar we raise up to $5000.00 will be matched by Boosted x Moana. We have a month to reach our target goal and need your support to meet this all-or-nothing target!

Every dollar counts. Your generous donations will support...

...fair artists' fees and materials, marketing and installation costs, travel, accommodation and public programming to develop and enhance our artists' creative practices.

Your investment, whether small or big, will contribute towards building a space and a community that we want you to be a part of.
