Overview
Congratulations, Beautiful Human! You have clicked your way to our Boosted Page. Good Karma is set to come your way…
What is Dying Swanologues?
Dying Swanologues is a new play by Bea Lee-Smith.
It's a tribute to the wonderful world of adult ballet. It follows the journeys of five mature bunheads. Together, they dance their way through life, love, loss and gain, at their weekly ballet class.
Our play explores how dance can bring people together, creating friendships, careers, and faith in human kind. Dialogue, monologue and dance combine to form this moving and often humorous piece of theatre.
Our Kaupapa:
We are an eclectic team of individuals, brought together by a love of dance. Dying Swanologues has been a passion project for all of our cast and crew. It is a celebration of ballet class. A place where people can connect with themselves on a soul level with every hour spent at the studio.
Your donation will assist with covering our rehearsal space hire, creating sets, props and costumes, and covering fees associated with music rights.
Any amount, great or small is hugely appreciated.
Thank you.

Project Updates
3/4s of the way to our goal after just a week!
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity towards getting us this so far in our funding campaign. We really appreciate it!
If you've got any friends or family who might be keen on supporting independent theatre, send this Boosted to them!
It's especially hard out there now for all us artists, and we'd love to see in our show by hitting our Boosted goal before we open.
xx The Dying Swanologues team.
