Driven

Driven is about a young woman who must survive her abusive partner as he takes her on a car ride to their final destination. The film explores the trauma that she’s had to endure in abstract sequences shot in a dark void, her isolation.

About Driven

The film explores the trauma the protagonist had to endure in abstract sequences that fuel her current drive to end this cycle of abuse. The narrative revolves around their physically abusive relationship and its violent climax. The protagonist, Selene’s, realisation that she cannot stay in this cycle of abuse is what fuels this story of survival.

What we are crowdfunding for

We have been lucky enough to be able to find a studio for filming, which is due to take place at the end of March. However, we need help to raise the funds by this date, so that we can lock in our schedule, and make sure that Driven is produced to the standard we know it deserves.
