DOUBLE DOWN FOR THE ARTS

The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi is in the business of fuelling a thriving arts community in Aotearoa New Zealand. This week, we celebrate our 2023 ARTS FOUNDATION LAUREATES - nine outstanding artists having monumental impact on our nation.

As a thank you for their profound contribution and commitment to the arts, each artist is gifted $35,000; generously donated by arts lovers across the country – in recognition of the power of the arts to transform New Zealand for the better!

One NZ – presenting partner of the 2023 Laureate Awards – have been so inspired meeting the 2023 Laureates over the last 24 hours, they've decided to double down! They're putting up another $25k as a match gift – to kick start a brand new fund that will enable us to support more artists, with more cash, in 2024.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Every dollar you donate from now until Monday night (36 hours from now!) will be doubled up to $25,000. That means that by the end of the weekend, we could rally a whopping $50,000 to go towards our Laureate Awards in 2024!

WHY GIVE?

Because the arts matter. And the more funds we can raise, the more we can give to our artists!

We believe in the power of collective giving. Everyone is invited to be part of this – from artists, to new arts lovers, to those who have been with us from the very beginning 23 years ago, carving a path for giving to the arts in Aotearoa.

You can give as little as $5, or as much as $5,000 or $15,000. Vote for the arts and creativity with your dollars! Give 'til it hurts (just a little bit) and watch our artists give back to New Zealand ten-fold.
