Don Faust - revised workshop

We didn't quite make it, so I've revised the project. We'll be doing it with fewer actors, later in the year, and I'll be funding the rest of the project myself. Please donate to this campaign - and remember, the more we raise, the better the end result will be!

Don Faust is a play about a thinker who is developing a theory of love. It re-imagines two legends - the German story of Doctor Faustus, who sold his soul to the devil, and the Spanish story of Don Juan, a womaniser.

I'll be recruiting a director and actors to help me develop the play. In the workshops (which will be held in central Auckland), and in the time between them, I'll transform my draft of the play into a production-ready script. At the end of this process, the actors will give a public reading of the play - and you'll be invited! After the reading, we'll answer any questions you have about the workshop process. You'll also be invited to give feedback on the play.

Your donation will help me to pay the director and actors - and to cover venue, printing, and promotional costs.
