Delivery

The Project
A while ago I met some fast food delivery guys while I worked a part time job next door. We talked during our downtime and they told me some truly crazy stories.
I'm not sure how true these stories were as to me their jobs seemed highly repetitive and monotonous, but the idea that these oddballs were welcomed (mostly!) into complete strangers lives and homes every night stuck with me.
This short film is based around those delivery workers and explores themes of loneliness and alienation - feelings that have always interested me as a foreign Kiwi.
As with my previous work, 'Blue' and 'Desert', the protagonist in 'Delivery' is again someone who feels isolated and displaced, without a sense of direction - someone who needs a break. But at the same time, this is a love story, and should resonate with a great number of us who feel misunderstood and at odds with the greater community.
We need a minimum of $10,000 to get into production. Every dollar will go into the screen, making this story look cinematic. It's been a challenge both me and Gio Jin to get this project alive. Your generously will not only give us a change to share this story but will also open up a pathway to tell more stories like this.
Please donate and share to everyone.
