Who?

My name is George McLenaghen. I'm an artist based in Dunedin. I've dedicated much of the past 18 months to writing songs and making music. The music is sounding close to how I would like it to sound, so I would like to get into a studio to record them properly to make my first album.

Why?

Making music has been a very rewarding and ardent experience, and it's one that I would like to continue for as long as possible. Your donation would go a long way to making the album, and hopefully more music for me to share with you in the future.

Your support by liking, sharing, and donating through the campaign would mean a great deal to me, so I'll try to keep the posts interesting and engaging for you, and perhaps have some demos for you to listen to along the way. Let me know your thoughts, if you like. :)

The Music/Writing

I'd describe the music as poems/stories sung to the strumming of a guitar, with a few riffs thrown over top for good measure.

Musical influences would mostly be the Blues, Desert Rock, and Folk genres.

The writing was in part influenced by what I was reading at the time, things like The Aenied, Greek Comedies, The Art of War and how themes in those writings are still relevant in the modern world.
