The Creation Of Cece McMillan's Debut Album And Vinyl Pressing
Charlotte McMillan | Music
Overview
From releasing a successful debut single and music video to having her original song orchestrated and recorded with Radio NZ (RNZ) and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO). Cece McMillan has set her sights on a bigger goal. Creating a full-length album.
Cece McMillan is a musician and vocalist from Manawatu New Zealand. She has a passion for creating music that is soulful, warm and captivating. Cece is currently studying for a diploma in creative music after completing her certificate of music at UCOL Manawatu.
Since the release and success of her debut single and music video ‘Desert Angels’ in November 2023, followed by her second single “Candy Butterflies” in December 2023, Cece McMillan has captivated and connected with an audience that yearns for more.
Cece’s album will contain approximately ten to twelve high-quality originals that weave self-discovery, loss and love together. Drawing inspiration from a rich blend of different genres, including pop, soul, country and jazz. Her music resonates with many who are on their unique path, figuring out who they are and where they belong.
With the rise in music costs for independent artists, this campaign will immensely help Cece record, develop and master her music with an end goal of pressing vinyl records locally made in New Zealand.
Contributions made will go directly towards the project expenses. 200 vinyl records will be pressed by Holiday Records in New Zealand. The remaining balance will be spent on vinyl mastering for each track, promotional efforts, equipment and artwork. By contributing to this campaign, you directly support Cece and play an essential role in helping her bring this album and vision to life.
Cece McMillan’s musical journey is one to follow along with, if you have any messages or questions about this campaign or herself please contact Cece on her social media platforms or visit her website at www.cecemcmillan.com
A warm thank you to UCOL Manawatu and Cece’s lecturers Kane Parsons, Graham Johnston and Nigel Patterson for being her guiding lights throughout her journey.
Thank you for your kindness. Your support towards this campaign is deeply appreciated.
