Burn It All Down (BIAD)

th'Orchard will be recording our first single, Burn It All Down (BIAD) with DJ Mu (Fat Freddy's Drop).

This single written by Solomon Smith and music by Mark Vanilau. It will be the th'Orchards first release after spending the first 4 years developing th'Orchards kaupapa. BIAD is the first of a number of songs written by th'Orchard that will be released and will feature vocals from our very own Orchard artists.

Burn It All Down was written by Solomon Smith during the first NZ Covid 19 lockdown. The lyric was inspired through the changes our world was experiencing through health restrictions and the Black Lives Matter marches in the USA.The amazing Mark Vanilau masterfully captures the lyric and articulates it through his musicianship.

BIAD is one of a number of originals written by th'Orchard and due to it becoming a favourite amongst our young and aspiring artists to sing and perform. We decided that the song has picked itself and count ourselves fortunate DJ Mu (Fat Freddys Drop) has agreed to engineer the track.

You're assistance in helping us reach our target will inspire and influence more artists to chase their dreams down. It will also mean the world will be blessed with new, fresh and original music.
