Boost Anatomy for Accountants to Edinburgh

Java Dance goes to the Edinburgh Fringe in August with Anatomy for Accountants.

Sacha's brave love letter to the human body has been invited to the prestigious and quirky Summerhall in Edinburgh as part of the NZ Season.

Edinburgh is an amazing launch pad for shows.

Creative NZ support has started the ball rolling but we need your help to launch all the way! Accommodation in Scotland costs that bit more.

We are seeking $4500 towards accommodating choreographer/performer Sacha Copland and violinist/composer Tristan Carter for an epic 21 show season. With your help we're confident of raising our target!

Anatomy for Accountants is a love letter to the human body and an acknowledgement of the scars, heartbreak, grief and history that our beautiful bodies carry. Never lacking in bravery, this show deconstructs power at a price and champions a world where we can all speak our truth.

Anatomy for Accountants premiered in 2022 at the Tahi festival (when it was called The Emperor's New Clothes) before a return season to Circa Theatre in 2023. Join us in taking the next step to Summerhall in Edinburgh.

We have refined, edited and massaged the show into shape and we will be performing in the Anatomy Lecture Theatre of all places! Anatomy for Accountants is described as "handling some of the bigger issues in life" and "Freeing and Funny".
