BLUEPRINT

The Project
After performing our debut show Blueprint in the Wellington Fringe Festival, we were granted the San Diego Exchange Award to represent New Zealand.
After graduating from the New Zealand School of Dance, our duo Connor and Toa were given the Toi Poneke Dance Residency to create their independent show. With this assistance, we were able to choreograph, build and create a show unique to our talents - combining our experience in Hip Hop (years of passion and street dance battles, as well as back up dancing for Jolin Tsai in China) and contemporary dance (training with the NZSD for three years) to create a new form of movement.
Through exploration and performing this show, we were given the opportunity to investigate our individual interests and share our form of movement with Wellington audiences.
Being awarded the San Diego Exchange means we have another opportunity to develop and share this performance; it has catapulted us forward, allowing us to work on something we are passionate about in a completely new scene - San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico.
As Wellingtonian Kiwis, we are so humbled that people from the other side of the globe will receive our work and are enabling our Blueprint journey to continue, but we need your boost to get us there!
Our registration and accommodation in the San Diego Fringe Festival have been covered, so we are looking to the community for support to get our team over there to perform!
