This season will be the first time The Rebel Alliance leaves the shores of Aotearoa.
It will be an opportunity to meet and network with local Danish makers and companies in the hope that it will lead to more artistic exchange between the two countries. Upon return The Rebel Alliance will share information and experiences about the Danish theatre industry with colleagues back home, either through a talk or simply informal chats with whoever has an appetite for performing in Scandinavia.
Professionally this season is a big deal for the The Rebel Alliance. It is also hugely personal as writer and performer Anders Falstie-Jensen for the very first time will be able to perform the show for friends and family. They've all been wondering what he's been doing with his time the last 20 years. Now, they'll get to find out! Help The Rebel Alliance secure a European breakthrough on a carpark in suburban Copenhagen! The Danish theatre is paying Anders' performance fee so we're raising funds towards the flight, accommodation in Copenhagen, per diems and a fee towards a local stage manager.
