Art for Education

The Project
'Art for Education' is an event that brings together a diverse range of New Zealand artists, to raise money for girls' education in places where females are subject to discrimination, poverty and war.
As a graphic design student I am eager to use my skills and the talent of artists around me, to create a positive change. It is with this in mind that 'Art for Education' came about.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Malala Fund, an organisation helping to facilitate the education of girls in places such as Syrian refugee camps, Kenya and Nigeria, where large numbers of girls are prevented from going to school.
'Art for Education' will feature works of many styles, targeting a broad demographic and encouraging people of all ages to take an interest in art. It is a chance for artists to exhibit and sell their work, collaborate and connect with other people from within the community. All of this whilst helping a good cause.
The artists involved are:

I need your help to cover the cost of venue hire, publicity and running the art show. Every donation will enable us to raise more money for this extremely worthwhile cause.
Thanks for your support!
