30 Years of Contemplation
LIAM CROZIER | Visual Art
Overview
For some of you, you may know me as a runner or cyclist living in tents, vans, back country huts and couches, spending too much time alone in the places very few people go. Although these are two activities I do they are actually tools for me to dig deeper into my thoughts, to clarify my opinions and separate myself from the contamination of external influences and opinion. Everything so far in life has affected where I am and what I believe but my decisions have always been directed by the broken and often conflicting path of my painting.
Now, at 29 (and too many months,) with clarity and no longer living the vagabond life, I hope to get my shit together and begin painting the way I see the world. More to the point, the way I see the people who themselves see the world more clearly than those who usually get painted.
This is in many ways is a self imposed piece of peer pressure to finally do what I dream of. I'm now holding myself accountable to others (that's you) in the hope that I make things that bring joy or at least, trigger contemplation about the way people see others.
I have been making plans, building a strategy and brand (because how else would a designer procrastinate from doing the harder work,) but I need a few things and I graciously request the help of you lovely people to fast track my gathering of supplies so I do not spend another 30 years in Limbo.
