'216 RECORDS'

The '216 MIXTAPE' is a project presented by Brown Pride NZ.

This mixtape will give Pacific and Māori youth an opportunity to publish their music to the best, professional standards. This mixtape will be a musical collection of different pieces from young talented Pacific and Māori youth, who need that financial and musical support to get their talent out there.

In this project, we want to connect these young, aspiring musicians with mentors that can help guide them to the right resources to develop their work and take their music to a new level, bringing it to the best possible quality. Not only do we want to help guide them into their music careers, but also with their lives in general. There is a lot of hidden young talent in South Auckland and Aotearoa in general.

Our hopes are that we can give our local talent enough exposure and mentorship to grow their confidence in their own craft.

The '216 MIXTAPE' will feature at least 10 different artist on one album and a there will be minimum of 15 mastered songs published in this project. Our ultimate goal is to release a new mixtape every second month, so that the creativity of the youth can continue evolving.

We ask for your support to help us make this project happen. The talent that we see on a daily basis is undiscoverd and we want to grow potential, feature young artists and show Aotearoa how much they are missing out on.
