2024 National Secondary Schools Brass Band

The Project
Please help the 2024 National Secondary Schools' Brass Band to look as good as they sound for their end-of-course concert.
What is the National Secondary Schools' Brass Band?
The National Secondary Schools' Brass Band, AKA NSSBB, is an annual training course for secondary school-aged brass and percussion musicians run by the Brass Band Association of New Zealand.
Since 2001 over 600 young musicians have attended NSSBB courses, where they have enjoyed performing with their peers, improving their musical skills and making a heap of friends from around the country. Students have gone on to study music in NZ and overseas, be professional musicians, teachers, composers and conductors, as well as supporting their hometown brass bands, concert bands, jazz bands and orchestras.
What is the NSSBB band doing this year?
We are delighted that 80 New Zealand students will attend this year’s training course to work in two full brass bands (The National Secondary Schools Band and the Development Band). The course will be held from 1 to 5 October at Nelson College and will conclude with a public concert on Saturday, 5 October.
What your donations will be used for:
We'd like your help to outfit each member of the 2024 NSSBB with a T-shirt to wear at their end-of-camp concert so they will look as good as they sound as they did in 2023 in their red T-shirts. (See the stunning photo above)
We'd appreciate donations of any amount at all to go toward outfitting these talented young musicians.
