2021 The Downs and Ups of Peep and Squeak
Alice Kirker | Theatre
Overview
A brother and sister, live music, a scary monster and a whole heap of balloons. After a sell-out season at Garnet Station’s Tiny Theatre and a cancelled COVID season, Peep and Squeak are back and ready for another adventure!
Two siblings have their world turned upside down when their parents are mysteriously murdered by an elusive monster. The pair decide to set off on the adventure of a lifetime as they heal and grow through the sharing of new experiences. They plunge themselves headfirst into a kaleidoscope of unfamiliar, magic lands, meeting a fantastical array of friends and foes.
Starring Katie Longbottom and Ravi Gurunathan with live music by Brayden Jeffrey, this three-cast show is a whimsical and poignant delight for anyone aged 5 years and older.
To make this project possible, we are needing to cover some of our pre-show expenses. Your generous donation will make it possible for us to have an epic set, plenty more puppet characters, a rehearsal space, and a little cash to pay our director.
We need you!
The Oddballs (much like all theatre companies) faced some big struggles while trying to make it through COVID-19. We have had two seasons of work cancelled, and we have experienced financial instability.
By supporting this project, you are providing financial security for a large team of independent artists. We literally cannot make this work without out, so any and all support is massively appreciated.
Help us make this whirlwind adventure possible and join us as Peep and Squeak explore a new world together, wrestle with grief and loss, and bond in the face of adversity.
