Devil In the Gat

Devil in the Gat is a Māori psychological horror short film exploring artistic obsession, cultural identity, and supernatural consequences. After a crushing talent show rejection, struggling musician Kereama meets Matua Jack, a forgotten country legend who warns of the dark price of success. Desperate, Kereama takes a deadly risk to claim Jack’s mana—only to face haunting consequences. We are seeking funding to bring this unique Māori horror story to life, blending traditional mythology with unsettling psychological tension. Your support will help us cover production costs, including gear hire, set design, music licensing, and special effects. Join us in making Devil in the Gat a reality!
