Seeking Will Picture Book
Help Bring Seeking Will to Life! Following the success of Finding Grace Kimihia a Grace, our bilingual picture book, we’re excited to create the next story in the series: Seeking Will. This new book was inspired by the January 2023 storms in the Waitākere Ranges, which highlighted the resilience and strength of our community. It tells the story of a boy and his dog navigating a storm, exploring themes of connection, courage, and the will to thrive. Throughout 2024, we held Create a Book Together workshops, where children and families helped shape the words and backgrounds for the story. Now, we’re launching a Boosted campaign to fund local illustration, design, and printing costs, ensuring the project remains community-centered. Your support will help us complete this heartfelt book and inspire creativity, conversation, and connection. Together, let’s bring Seeking Will to life—join us on this journey!

Asking through email
Social media is a handy marketing tool, but you don’t own your social media community. The visibility of your posts is at the mercy of social media algorithms. In other words, just because you publish a status update, doesn’t mean people see it. Furthermore, if the gods of digital decide to fold a platform, that’s your hard-earned followers gone in a blink.

Running a successful crowdfunding campaign requires many skills. But you don’t have to do it all by yourself. In fact, you’re more likely to succeed if you don’t fly solo, because team driven campaigns raise 38% more than solo campaigns.
