The Green Room Gallery
The Green Room is an artist-run initiative, which serves to provide artists a blank slate to project their creative pursuits on. Our primary focus is in furthering a sense of community within the arts, this will see an emphasis on exhibiting works by practicing creatives in Ōtautahi accompanied by a range of one off kōrero. We believe the distinct lack of artist-run spaces within the city has a negative impact on the ability for artists to show their work and gain exposure. By developing this initiative we hope to bring together our community, support our local artists and inspire others to do the same.
