Penina o le Moana: Celebrating Samoan Culture in Dunedin
Penina o le Moana is dedicated to strengthening, celebrating, and promoting Samoan culture and language in the Dunedin community. Through our weekly Siva Samoa workshops, we connect children with their heritage, culminating in an annual FiaFia night—a vibrant cultural celebration where our Penina (students) showcase their learning through dance and storytelling. This year, our program has grown, and we need your help to make our FiaFia night a success. Your support will ensure we can cover essential costs without placing any financial burden on our families.
