Short Biography of Writer/Director:
Helmut Marko is an emerging writer and director, born and raised in Papua New Guinea before moving to New Zealand to complete his studies. He is a graduate of the New Zealand Film and Television School and graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from Victoria University of Wellington in 2020.
Helmut has written and worked in numerous areas of short film production and videography, and is now transitioning to T.V. and feature script writing where he is developing traditionally rooted Papua New Guinean, New Zealand and Pacific genre stories; particularly in action, science fiction, horror and fantasy.
