We are Lalaga Niu, a newly formed collective of world-builders & creators connected by the Moana. Lalaga Niu was created through our love for storytelling, building meaningful relationships and growing networks among Māori & Pasifika creatives. Our kaupapa is simple, Lalaga Niu isn’t a group but a shifting space. A bridge that connects the stories of the past with the present. We hope to create a vessel with world-builders and storytellers to amplify their voices and artistry.
