Warm Pasifika Greetings, & Wassup!
This is the 95 Collective and we are based out of Saute Aukalagi aka South Auckland. We are a collective of 14 friends but more like brothers, all born and still being raised in South Auckland. We have come together to create a collective where we can showcase our talents and storytelling through different mediums. We hope to create a community where we can inspire young Maori & Pasifika people to create their own collective and safe space. South Auckland Made.
The Ninety5 Radio Show
Overview
To create a platform where we can converse, reflect & share great music. To talanoa, to laugh, to curate and share different tastes in music that we listen to. From South Auckland to the world.
Goals
- Share great music to our audience by curating different sounds from different genres. Share artists that our audience can follow.
- Talanoa & reflect on what we may be doing in our spaces.
- Inspire others to want to try this creative form of art.
Vision
- The Ninety5 Radio Show is a platform that will bring people together through music, open discussions about music and catch ups. There will be subtle comedic elements, check-ins and news from around the way.
- Ninety5 is a gateway for maori & pasifika people to draw inspiration from, with the hope of people creating their own idea of a creative outlet & what that looks like to them.
- Keeping south auckland as our centrepiece will help us stand tall on our Pasifika upbringings and values.
Mission
We aim to create a 3-part series that not only introduces the radio show but gives the audience an introduction into 95 the collective and the brothers who are a part of it. We want to be able to have funding to create 3 episodes of “The 95 Radio Show” to showcase to creatives that they can do this too, they can create their own radio show and display their music taste and what they like. Music is a universal language.

Boosted How To Guides
Asking through email
Social media is a handy marketing tool, but you don’t own your social media community. The visibility of your posts is at the mercy of social media algorithms. In other words, just because you publish a status update, doesn’t mean people see it. Furthermore, if the gods of digital decide to fold a platform, that’s your hard-earned followers gone in a blink.
