
Hens' Teeth
Hens' Teeth Women's Comedy Company is a woman-only comedy troupe based in Wellington. Founded in 1988 by Kate JasonSmith it went on to perform regularly over 13 years. The format was a series of comedy sketches held together by a compere. In 1996 they completed a tour of the South island, which was filmed for a documentary.
The company had a revival in 2017 at Circa Theatre's WTF! Festival, and then in December 2020 presented the sold-out season The Older the Better, featuring the talents of three 90-year-old performers.

Māpura Studios is a creative space and art therapy centre in central Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau. The project works with over 200 adults and children every week, offering art classes and art therapy programmes for people living with disability and diversity. The studio is also the only organisation that is contracted to deliver art therapy programmes to inmates at Auckland Prison – changing paths and making an impact through art and creativity.
