Cross-Genre Performing Arts born out of the seismic energy of Christchurch & Lyttelton. Circus - Theatre - Dance - Martial Arts, spearheaded by prolific Creative Director Danny Lee Syme.
Danny is a sixth-generation Cantabrian of Germanic/Scandinavian and Scottish descent and identifies as Tangata Tiriti. He is a performing artist, director, teacher, producer and choreographer with extensive experience in circus, martial arts, physical theatre, acting and dance. He was a founding member of the Christchurch Circus Trust, The Loons Circus Theatre Company and Circotica. He has been trained in the martial arts since the age of six and graduated from the Circo Arts programme in 2006. He is a Master of Professional Practice and is working at the forefront of contemporary circus and physical theatre in Aotearoa/NZ.
