Liam K. Swiggs
Started in the mighty Northwestern Ōtautahi suburbs of Belfast/Papanui/Redwood after the earthquakes in a broken city with nothing to do or much to be proud of at the time - We started a local collective made up of like-minded friends from diverse backgrounds looking to give our local alternative community a sense of purpose and meaning as well as something to do! For nearly 10 years now we've been releasing electronic/hip-hop music from NZ-based artists nationwide with over 50 releases! We're best known for our infamous "Footmahi" compilation - It features 100% local NZ producers putting their 160BPM magic touch on the inclusive and happily hazily defined homegrown musical concept of FOOTMAHI (a style of dance music influenced by Chicago Juke/Footwork/Ghetto House!)

Pitching to media

Unless you’re famous in your own right or have strong social influence, it’s unlikely you’ve got immediate access to a network of this size. Here’s where PR comes to the party.31 Aug 2024 -

Setting your target
Before you start planning your crowdfunding campaign you need to know a few important things, like...
· What’s my funding target?
· How many people do I need to give?
· How many people do I need to ask to give?
· How often should I ask them?
· How long should my campaign be?
· When should I run my campaign?
Luckily, we can help you answer these questions.

Asking through email
Social media is a handy marketing tool, but you don’t own your social media community. The visibility of your posts is at the mercy of social media algorithms. In other words, just because you publish a status update, doesn’t mean people see it. Furthermore, if the gods of digital decide to fold a platform, that’s your hard-earned followers gone in a blink.
