Milon Tesiram
Tom Sainsbury is an actor, writer, director and Political Satirist. He became publicly known during the 2017 elections when his Snapchat videos of politicians were shared around the internet. Since then he has acted in Shortland Street, Wellington Paranormal and The Educators. He is also a regular guest on TV2’s Have You Been Paying Attention. In 2016 and 2018 Tom wrote and directed the winning films in the 48Hour Film Competition, taking out the Best Director Prize in 2018 and 2019.
Chillbox is a film and video production company based in Auckland. We started in 2012 as university students at university with a dream of making feature films. Creating commercial and creative video content for nearly eight years has given us the skills, experience and rigour that it takes to make a feature film. We’ve worked with Tom since 2015 on web series and short films - including two 48Hours wins - and we're excited to bring his vision to life.
