Boosted How To Guides
Planning your content
A crowdfunding campaign needs a ton of content. For the 30 or so days of funding, you’ll be coaxing, cajoling and flirting with your crowd, asking for money, and you’ve got to come up with a fresh way to ask every day. You’ve got to keep it interesting, enticing and exciting.

Intensive Butoh Training in Japan
I had so many beautiful people come through from Thursday - Tuesday to say goodbyes, have final coffees, and talk all things Japan. I have so much gratitude for the connections I have on the home Whenua, and the immense support I've had from all from professional to personal folks. Tomorrow, in 12 hours, I leave on my flight for Japan for the foreseeable future. I know nobody there, I have no job to go too, and I have a whole lot of residencies, memories, and curiosities in the brain bank. It's risky, but I feel like it's the right move. For now. Ngā Mihi to all who've donated so far - we're already at 18% and it's only been 2 days!Full Project Update -

Beast Mode
Kia ora everyone, It's Joyce here, Producer and creative budgeting expert. I wanted to say a huge thank you for your support with Beast Mode. Today we woke up and have officially reached 70% of our campaign goal. CRAZY! Your hard earned dollars are not going to waste, over the past few weeks we've locked our edit, and jumped into the next phase of post-production. From jumping into our first session with extraordinaire sound mixer David, and finalising our score with Bayker. It's been an amazing process to not only have the privilege to finish this film, but also to feel your support behind the kaupapa of the project. If you have capacity, we'd really appreciate you sharing our campaign with your networks to get us to 100%. Thank you once again.Joyce and the Beast Mode team.Full Project Update -

Beast Mode
Kia ora,Joyce here, Producer on Beast Mode and creative wife to Chye-Ling. On the 8th March, the world celebrated International Women's Day. It's a day to commemorate women's fight for equality and liberation, and to draw attention to issues that our communities are facing. On social media we released a statement and I thought it'd be awesome to share with our amazing donors. As a proud supporter of Beast Mode, I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting the mission to fuel more open and healing conversations around sexual assault and violence against women.Boosted is a all or nothing platform, the fact we're still $1000 away from completing our campaign is definitely daunting. But with 5 days left we are confident we can make it, if you could share our campaign and help get us to 100% we would be incredibly grateful. See you at the top!Joyce.Full Project Update -

It's All About You
Hey folks, the saga continues. Our movie is all finished now, and we had a very successful cast/crew/investor screening in Wellington a few weeks ago. Lots of praise for the movie, and a theatre owner very interested in screening it. Local distribution continues to be thorny and we'll be looking to do a limited release in Wellington to begin with later in the year. In the meantime here's the trailer for you to cast your eyes over!Full Project Update -
